Thanks Aditi for this piece and series. It caught my eye because in Singapore, there is the story of respecting meritocracy and as you pointed out in the first blog, there are all sorts of underpinning messages that can be quite dangerous. In the push against inequality, and in a way not to bring down the best but to lift the underprivileged, I do think systematic efforts must be stacked for the poor and against the rich (and so says Singapore's most popular minister too, who co-chaired the Advisory Board for UN's Human Development Report 2019, which focused on inequality, together with Thomas Piketty). 100% applauding your efforts to make an individual difference xx
